At Freekids Peuterspelen, toddlers aged 2 to 4 can play and learn in a familiar environment, where the educational staff give the toddlers all the attention they need. Toddler play is 4 hours per half day. Children with a VVE indication attend 16 hours per week, spread over 4 half-day sessions. Children with both parents working can start with us at the age of 2. Children whose parents make use of the local council regulation start at the age of 2.5.
At toddler play, playing together and developmental stimulation is central. In a playful way, toddlers learn social skills such as being considerate of each other, sharing and playing together, but there is also attention to the Dutch language.
De pedagogisch medewerkers van Freekids werken met dezelfde methode als de leerkrachten op de basisschool. Als voorbereiding op de basisschool wennen de kinderen aan een vast dagritme van brengen, halen, samen eten, leren en zingen. De kinderen leren op de peuterspeelzaal de juiste vaardigheden om op natuurlijke wijze in te stromen in het basisonderwijs. Na 1,5 tot 2 jaar Peuterspelen kan jouw kind een goede start maken op de basisschool.
