De buitenschoolse opvang van Freekids is voor kinderen van 4 tot 13 jaar. In heel de Zaanstreek bieden wij verschillende vormen van opvang buiten schooltijd, zoals opvang tijdens vakantie, flexibele opvang en voorschoolse opvang.
The permanent pedagogical staff undertake fun and challenging activities with the children, but of course there is also opportunity to play together or do quiet activities.
After a busy day at school, children are free to choose what they want to do. We believe it is very important that a child can relax at Freekids, feel at home and above all feel safe. The child is surrounded by peers and permanent pedagogical staff.
Our XL locations in Zaandam and Assendelft are true play paradises. At these locations we offer care after school hours. We work with several tribal groups of different ages.
With this unique BSO concept in the Netherlands we start from the free thought of the child. After school the children are free to play in the play paradise and do (within certain limits) what they like.
Here all children can have a great time on trampolines, climb on the climbing frame, build a log cabin or watch a movie in the cinema room. Of course, there is also room for quiet activities, such as doing crafts or reading a book.
At our Sport BSO Freekids Outdoor in Koog aan de Zaan, after-school care takes on a whole new dimension. The location in and around the Topsportcentrum de Koog in Koog aan de Zaan offers unique possibilities for after-school care. Being outside together and exercising is a real celebration here. Our pedagogical staff, with a great passion for sports and games, supervise it all in a professional manner.
A large number of our out-of-school care locations have a link to a Zaan Primair elementary school and are also located in the school. The children are picked up from class by our pedagogical staff and brought to the BSO. We offer before- and after-school care at most schools. With an inspiring and challenging game program, we meet the needs of each child.
For vacation care during all school vacations, parents can purchase package 1, which is care during regular school weeks and includes all vacations. We always ask parents to let us know whether or not the child will be coming during the vacations, so we can take this into account with our staff planning.
Not all locations are open during school vacations. Many locations which are located in schools gather at our XL locations or at our Sport BSO during vacations, so that the children can enjoy the vacation period optimally with all facilities. An extensive activity program is also offered during school vacations and various trips are taken.
In vacation care, parents bring and pick up the child to the location themselves. Vacation care is from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. If parents need care starting at 7:00 am, this can be indicated to the location.

To this end, a team of expert staff is available to the child and its parent(s)/caregiver(s). Freekids offers a safe and stimulating environment in which the child has room to develop, experience, discover and learn.
